Charlottesville Albemarle SPCA Fundraiser, Mutts and Margaritas
Thursday, September 27th from 5-8pm
Family owned, local businesses Dixon Disposal, Snows Garden Center, Able Insurance, and Preston Morris CPAs along with Charlottesville Albemarle SPCA and La Taza Restaurant bring you MUTTS and MARGARITAS. This unique fundraiser was established by Julie “Bootscootin” Bonistalli, a local celebrity dancer in this year’s CASPCA Critter Ball that will be held on October 6.
Five of Charlottesville’s community leaders have volunteered to dance their hearts out for a sensational cause – to raise money for Charlottesville’s no kill shelter. All proceeds from the Critter Ball and the funds raised by the individual dancers will benefit the animals of the Charlottesville-Albemarle SPCA. Mutts and Margaritas, being held in the heart of Belmont at La Taza, 407 Monticello Road on Thursday, September 27th from 5-8pm, will be held to raise money for the Bootscootin Bonistalli campaign. The SPCA will bring several adoptable “mutts” and other canines and felines in hopes of finding them forever homes. Come enjoy a sensational La Taza margarita with your friends and support the CASPCA. Mutts and Margarita t-shirts, sponsored by Blue Ridge Graphics, will be available (in limited quantities) along with Snows Garden Center gift cards and various other fun items – all to raise money for the SPCA.
Julie Bonistalli’s enthusiasm to help animals in need and to support the local SPCA stems in part from a loving memory of her childhood pets – a golden retriever, Sasha, and a robust Siamese kitty, Kyboo, who had himself been homeless, but lived a long, happy life after adoption. She wants nothing more than to dance her heart out, win the 2012 Mirror Ball Trophy, and raise a record amount of money for the Charlottesville Albemarle SPCA.
