In conjunction with Edible Blue Ridge Magazine, the Orange Downtown Alliance presents the first "Edible Food Fest" in Orange. August 11th from 11amtil 5 pmon Main Street in Orange. This festival will celebrate bringing food from earth to table. Renowned cook Edna Louis, whose cookbook, The Taste of Country Cooking put American regional cuisine on the international culinary map for the first time, will be honored throughout the event, and the dining court will be named for her.
