Annual Holiday Highlight to Benefit University of Virginia Children’s Hospital Expected to Again Draw 1,400 Runners And Walkers of All Ages
Charlottesville, VA(October 16, 2011) – Online registration opens today for the annual 5k race held at The Boar's Head; this unique event sells out quickly. The Boar’s Head is celebrating its 31st running by bringing together local residents, their families and friends and resort guests for Charlottesville’s Thanksgiving Day “Turkey Trot.”
The Turkey Trot is a popular annual event thanks to its unique 5K road race. Unite with friends and family to run (or walk!) the 5K course through beautiful EdnamForestand raise money for the UVA Children's Hospital.
Register online at http://www.uvaturkeytrot.com. This site also include answers to commonly-asked Turkey Trot questions. Registration will close on November 19th, or when 1,400 entrants have registered, whichever comes first. Historically the race sells out prior to the registration deadline, so get in now before it's too late!
