CHURCH CHOIR PRESENTATION

On Thursday, February 21, the Adult Choir of Christ Episcopal Church will sing the beautiful “Requiem” by Gabriel Fauré.  The program will open at

7:00 p.m. with a 25-minute organ recital on the magnificent newly restored (Andover/2012) Hook organ, featuring two works of César Franck,

performed by Alice Layman.  Following the organ recital, the Adult Choir will sing the "Requiem," accompanied by a 14-piece orchestra, with

guest soloist Keith Wagner, baritone.  Members of the Christ Church Junior Choir will join on the “Pie Jesu” movement.  Please come and enjoy

this program which is a perfect offering for the Lenten season.  Admission is FREE ANDOPEN TO THE PUBLIC.  Christ Church is located

downtown Charlottesville, 2^nd and High Streets.  Street parking is available, and there is a church parking lot at the corner of 1^st and Jefferson.
