The Ronald McDonald House of Charlottesville (RMHC-C) will unveil the entries in their Second Annual Pop Art Contest at CitySpace on the Downtown Mall in Charlottesvilleon Saturday, April 27th from 4pmto 6pm. The event is open to the public and will include a silent auction to raise money for the local charity which provides temporary housing for families with seriously ill and injured children receiving critical care at UVAHospital.
Entries in the contest include works constructed with at least 25 percent of soda pop tabs and made by local artists in the form of adaptive art, sculpture, wearable art, and functional art.
The winners will be announced at the art show and attendees will have the opportunity to vote for their favorites and bid on a variety of items from local businesses including J. Fenton Quilts Unlimited, Michaels, Bedrock Sandals, Ben and Jerry’s, Edible Arrangements, and more.
