This will be our 8th annual Coyner Springs Kite Fly. Last year we had over 1,300 spectators throughout the day. The event fits into a unique niche and once you see the majestic, colorful nature of 100 ft. kites in the air you cannot deny the awe inspiring grace of kites. It has a multigenerational appeal and the ability to bring together families and community members, from the very young to the young at heart. It is also unique because it is the only festival we hold in CoynerSpringsParkthroughout the year and it provides a perfect setting for the event with rolling hills and picturesque views of the Blue Ridge Mountainsin the background.
