PATERNITY ESTABLISHMENT PROGRAM

Dads, if you want to be involved in your child’s life then you need to know this.  If you’re not married to your child’s mother when your baby is born, you’re not recognized as the legal father.  But there is an easy fix - a mom and dad can sign an Acknowledgment of Paternity form in the hospital. Children do best when both parents are there for them. So dads, if you’re not married, sign the acknowledgement form and get your name on your child’s birth certificate. It’s free, easy, and it’s the right thing to do.
For more information call the Paternity Establishment Program at 866/398-4841.
