A variety of events, races and entertainment will launch the first spring Rivanna RiverFest when it makes its debut on May 11th, beginning with the Fix a Leak Family 5k at 10am from Charlottesville’s Riverview Park.
The Rivanna River Race will kick off simultaneously at the Rt. 29 bridge at Rio Mills Road and both events will finish at Darden Towe Park’s boat launch joined by community group activities entertainment beside the river until 1pm.
