The first annual spring Rivanna River Fest is on Saturday May 11.
This will be a family-friendly event down at the Rivanna River with
lots of activities happening throughout the day. Events will start
at 10 am with the Fix a Leak Family 5K starting at the City’s
Riverview Park in Charlottesville and the Rivanna River Race
starting at the Route 29 Bridge at Rio Mills Road. Both will finish
at Darden Towe Park’s Boat Launch, where there will be lots of
community groups and entertainment to enjoy down by the river
