Virginia’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate has dropped to its lowest level since July 2007.
In a release Friday, Gov. Ralph Northam’s office said the Commonwealth had a seasonally adjusted unemployment rate of 3 percent in August.
This is below the national rate of 3.9 percent and the lowest among the Southeast states.
