Beginning late Tuesday night, Charlottesville drivers will experience overnight sewer work in the area of the old Main Street Arena on Water Street.
According to the city, the work will be conducted during off-times when Charlottesville Area Transit buses will not be running.
This week, West Water Street will be closed in both directions from the intersection with Ridge Street to Second Street from 12 midnight to 6:30 am Wednesday thru Saturday.
On Sunday, the road will be closed from 12 midnight to 8 am and again from 7 pm Sunday night thru 6:30 am Monday morning.
