The Charlottesville City School Board is seeking applicants for a vacant position on the board.
The spot was opened up after former member Amy Laufer resigned earlier this month due to moving outside of the city.
Applications are due Feb. 1 and the board plans to appoint its interim member on Feb. 21. The interim member would serve through the remainder of Laufer’s term, which ends on Dec. 31 of this year.
