Several local road are closed to traffic during the Charlottesville Marathon Saturday.
According to a City press release, the following roads are closed between 6 a.m. and 2 p.m.:
- Ridge / McIntire Rd (Preston to Main St) – ROAD CLOSED no cone lane
- Main St / University Ave (Ridge McIntire to Rugby) – ROAD CLOSED no cone lane
- Rugby Rd (University to Gordon) – ROAD CLOSED no cone lane
- Grady Ave (13th to Preston) – RIGHT LANE CLOSED Cone Lane
- Preston Ave (Grady to McIntire) – ROAD CLOSED no cone lane
- McIntire Rd (Preston to Perry) – ROAD CLOSED no cone lane
- Locust Ave (Locust Lane to Poplar) – ROAD CLOSED no cone lane
- River Rd (VFW Parking Lot to St Claire) – City Cone Lane right side
- Melbourne Rd (Rio to JW Pkwy Bike Path) – City Cone Lane right side (sidewalk side)
- Maple Ave (Lexington to 7th) – City Cone Lane parking side
There will also be closures along the following roads near Court Square:
- E Jefferson from 4th to 6th- 4/5 from 12 noon to 4/6 at 2 p.m.
- E Jefferson from 4th to 6th- 4/5 from 12 noon to 4/6 at 2 p.m.
- 5th St and Market St- 4/5 from 12 noon to 4/6 at 2 p.m.
- E Jefferson and 7th- 4/6 from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- 7th and High St- 4/6 from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- E Jefferson at 9th St- 4/6 from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. (for the Kids K)
- 4th St at High St- 4/6 from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m.
